Why should I join BHRA?
BHRA provides you with the opportunity to network with other local HR professionals, attend educational seminars, and assist with obtaining or renewing your PHR/SPHR/GPHR Certifications. As a BHRA member, you will be kept up to date on local projects and resources that may benefit you or your business. You will receive monthly newsletters with chapter news as well as relevant articles.

General Questions
How do I get more involved with BHRA?
There are many ways to get involved with BHRA. You could volunteer to serve on a committee such as Workforce Readiness or Member Relations, self-nominate to be included on the ballot for the next Board Member Election, or even submit a request to speak on a topic that you are passionate about and well-versed in at one of our upcoming meetings. Contact our current President or President-Elect for more information.

Choosing to obtain your HR credentials is a career long commitment that demonstrates to your peers and your organization that you are driven to be successful in HR management. Earning your HR credentials can:
- Increase your professional confidence because you have validated that you know and can apply the core HR practices.

How do I access the member directory?
To access the member directory, click on the "Members Only" tab at the top of the web page. Then click on "Member Directory".
Where do I see and register for upcoming events?
You can view upcoming events by clicking on the "Events" tab at the top of the page. Once you find the event you wish to attend, you click on it and follow the prompts to register. Please note: at this time we are unable to accept credit card payments via the website. Payments can be mailed or can be made in person during meeting registration.
How do I send an email to the membership of BHRA?
Board members are the only individuals that have the ability to email the entire membership. We did this in order to reduce the amount of emails you get from the SHRM website. You may contact a member of the board to request that a group email is sent out. Otherwise, if you wish to post a question to the general membership, you can do this by utilizing the member forum function.
How do I access and participate in forums?
If you wish to access the member forum, choose the "Members Only" tab at the top of the page. Then click on "Member Forum". Once inside, click on "General HR Forum" link. You may then choose "Add A New Post" to post a question to the general audience.
